A dividing wall is easy. Making each half a complete room, and making both halves behave as a single room when the wall opens, is the actual requirement.

Divisible rooms fail in a predictable way. Combining works but nobody remembers how, so the wall stays shut and the building loses its largest space.

We set these up so combining and separating is one obvious action, and so the audio does not fight itself when the wall opens. A presenter should be heard evenly across both halves.

Opening the wall should be a single choice on the panel, and the audio, displays and microphones follow. If combining needs a call to IT, it will not get used.

Sessions get watched later, not just attended

Training is recorded as often as it is delivered live. Capture and streaming are designed in with the room, because a camera and a feed added afterwards rarely look like they belong to it.

Divisible spaces that actually divide

A divisible room is two AV systems that must also be one: audio, video and control re map correctly with the wall open or closed, automatically, or staff simply stop moving the wall.

Assistive listening is designed in, training rooms are exactly where hearing support is legally and practically expected.

What makes a divisible training room work?

Can a training room host hybrid sessions with remote attendees?

Yes, presenter and audience microphones feed the call so remote attendees hear questions as well as the presenter, and cameras cover the presenter position.

Can the room switch between classroom and event layouts?

Yes, when the AV is planned for both configurations from the start, including where people stand, present and plug in.
